MM-WHS 2017: Multi-Modality Whole Heart Segmentation
in conjunction with STACOM and MICCAI 2017 (Sep 10 or 14th, 2017, Quebec City, Canada)

Read carefully the Terms and Conditions and return the signed Data Use agreement document and send to the organizers. We’ll then get in touch and send you the data link. For the challenge and algorithm evaluation, please submit your segmentation results in nifty (nii.gz) format.

How to participate

-- Submission deadline: June 12th, 2017
1. On the training data: The participants can use the training data and any cross validation scheme for their manuscript preparation and submission.
2. On the testing data: Please submit the segmentation results of the testing datasets, in nifty format in a zip file, with your manuscript.
-- Notification of acceptance: July 3th, 2017
The authors will be notified with the decision of their manuscript and the evaluation results of the testing datasets. We will publish the ranking results of all the submitted algorithms later.
-- Camera ready: July 17th, 2017
In the camera ready copy, we suggest the authors include their evaluation and ranking results of the test data, as well as the results of the training data.

The challenge also accepts single-modality segmentation, single chamber segmentation. For these participants, the evaluation will be given solely on the modality/ chamber.

Review process

Please submit your contribution via the workshop submission system before the workshop deadline.

For the submitted manuscripts, they will be firstly reviewed by the workshop organizers who will ensure the quality of the paper reached the publication standard. Then each paper will be reviewed by our reviewers. The review procedure will be double-blinded, similar to the MICCAI submissions. Review comments will be sent to the authors for their further consideration of modifications and preparation for the final camera ready copy that will be included in the workshop proceedings.

Paper Format

The format should follow the LNCS style according to the main MICCAI conference guidelines. A single-blind review process will focus on originality and relevance to the workshop topics.

Paper length should be no more than 8 pages and optional supplementary information will be accepted. We encourage the submission of video material. If the paper had been submitted to the main MICCAI conference, authors may optionally include the reviews and rebuttal for consideration as supplementary material.
